PRASONISI
Prasonisi is a stunning beach that surprises visitors depending on when they visit. It transforms itself from being an island to a peninsula depending on the season. During summer, when the sea level is very low, it turns into a peninsula attached to Rhodes while in winter, with water reaching a higher level, Prasonisi becomes an island once again.
Only 92 km from Rhodes town lays Prasonisi, an impressive beach made of two sandy coves ending in an island that can be reached walking or swimming, depending on the weather conditions and the sea level.
KOLYMBIA
Kolymbia is an organized, mostly sandy beach. The atmosphere in the entire area is relaxed, as the majority of the hotels around are preferred by families, so despite many hotels, Kolymbia is relatively quiet even in summer. The highlight of the area is a 2 km long eucalyptus avenue, which leads to a beautiful and clean gravel-sand beach in front of an impressive rock scenery.
BUTTERFLY VALLEY
The Valley of the Butterflies is one more landmark of the island, the "Zitia" tree, hosts millions of butterflies.
Every year, from May to September, thousands of visitors come to watch this lovely creatures and walk through the narrow paths. The coolness of this place, the flowing waters and the shade of the trees make it ideal to rest, especially during the hot summer days
KIOTARI BEACH
Kiotari beach Rhodes: Kiotari beach is located 60 km south of Rhodes Town and just a few minutes drive from the picturesque resort of Lindos. Kiotari is a cosmopolitan and modern place with various hotels offering the visitors all the facilities for peaceful holidays.
